Autism - Spirit Connection

As with anything in the Universe, in my experience, there is a balance to all the hard things that happen. Autism is one of the most complex and difficult things for a parent to have in a child, and also for the child who has it - and as adults, they meet with prejudice and hardships most people will never even get a taste of in their lives. 
The spectrum of the schismatic ailment known collectively as Autism is massive and varied. Spirits have often told me that we do not know half of the disorders that will come to be known in the future as Autism. There will be a revolution in thinking about this disorder in the next 5-10 years that will forever change it - within that 5-10 years there is a timetable, rough as it is, but the renaming will be towards the end of that period - 8 years from now - whereas the revolution itself will become named and well known between 5-5 1/2 years from now. It is in its infancy now, and has been since the 70's. Several doctors have made insane breakthroughs already - but it will take time for general acceptance. It's hard to say what's now and what's then - what already was - suffice it to say: the future is bright for those with Autism.
Many people have brought me people with Autism to communicate with them or tell me what I see. Dozens in various types of the ailment. These were eye opening and mind opening. They were not simple, not lost, not uncaring of the world around them.. But wholly integrated - body and soul - into the energies of the world both physical and metaphysical..
We are still in the relative dark ages when it comes to our cultures/society understanding the illness. That being said, I want you to take everything I write with a grain of salt - spirits and I have been wrong, not far off, but it's happened. I'd be a fool to say I understand everything shown to me, but I endeavor to try my hardest.
What I do know from my decades of seeing the spiritual world is that Autism has a spiritual component. It is not 100% spiritual, closer to 40-50%. There are little ballerinas of energy in their minds - a little light show I do not see in many others. Some call it auras, let's just call it energy around the person's body - long but I hate using coined terms for such a mysterious phenomena. The energy swirls around in a dance, gracefully deliberate in some instances, and mindbogglingly fast in others - and sometimes it pushes out meters from the person. It's mesmerizing. I hate catching myself staring, but oftentimes I slip into the patterns and forget myself lol. Ghosts do the same ;)
But that is just skimming the surface. Usually, the more apart from what we call reality - the more the person is in the Spirit world. Almost all of the people I have met with Autism notice ghosts. Some interact with ghosts in a very lucid way. Others move more than regular folks when spirits touch them or are too close to them. Some can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch spiritual energies, some can only sense them just a little - like a bit of a radar. Others see into the spiritual plane we can call the Happy Afterlife Place, if you like - Heaven or what-have-you.
One boy, we will call Jose, had "low functioning" Autism. They never told me a name for it or what the doctors said as I like to be as blind as possible to avoid bias. Jose looked straight at me as I spoke to him the way I speak to spirits in direct communication. I asked him to point to three of the ghosts that were in the room - there were many that night, at least 20 - and he smiled and pointed to two ghosts and one living person. His Mother. I'm not saying general direction, I'm saying straight at them, making eye contact with them. If I spoke words to him, he would not notice me at all - direct communication only - that is, speaking important words only or using spiritual communication as I do with many ghosts. He could talk to the spirits clear enough, and the spirits around him {that were like an entourage were mostly ancestors (old and newly deceased)} told me the most frequent sentiment he shared with them was that he loved his Mother and Father so much - but they were a little rude for ignoring his (nickname won't be shown) - his Great Grandmother who had died maybe twenty year before he was even born.  I won't say her name but the nickname was quite close to her actual name. He thought they were rude for ignoring spirits they couldn't see. He loved his parents and knew a lot about them, and I think he was able to see what they were doing while he was asleep when they stayed up at night. His entourage of spirits seemed to think so. He was still mysterious to them. A lot of spirits would come and check the little guy out to see his ability. He also knew when his family got sick, which is a common thing parents and spirits tell me about them, but it was hard for him to communicate it - so he would point to them (more like their bodily energy) and cry out when his finger was over the afflicted area.
They see you, but they are often distracted by spirits and spiritual phenomenon. Spirits will educate them, entertain them, cuddle them, and talk to them about their lives. Often times this makes it seem scary to some people - how did the kid know this or that without learning it here? How do they know that Spanish song when they know no Spanish nor have been exposed to much of it?? How can they know Aunt Kitty has cancer in her cerebral cortex? How can they sense when you are sad when you are doing such an amazing job at hiding it? It's scary to some that cannot see spirits, but for those who can - it makes perfect sense.
Another reason they can be intensely intelligent is explained by that light show I describe earlier. Their brains and spirits work together with bodily energy unlike regular people. Sometimes it's not spirits talking to them, but the phenomena of energy raining down in a torrent when normal folk have a light drizzle. A beehive of shining activity when my brain can barely add and subtract first thing in the morning before coffee. Is it a gift? I don't know. I can't judge a situation I am not in, even if I have been exposed to many folk in said situation.
It's a struggle. Misunderstood folk who have such connections with the spiritual world - in a mundane world that struggles with fear and laughs at what it doesn't understand. It can't be real for them because they can't see it, they can't sense it. Well I sense it. I admire their ability to see spirits so clearly - but I also admire what a fight they have to go through walking in both worlds without a filter. Mediums are usually pretty lucky in that they are able to filter out the spirit world when they need to, like myself. I can ignore a spirit where they cannot, I can jump from spiritual to mundane within minutes, but they cannot leave it. Once our society is ready to stop laughing, not caring, or hating the fact of a spiritual plane of existence, they will see those with Autism (and other ailments) as giants who walk both this world and the other. The parents will be loved for their struggle.
Not all those with Autism have the ability to see spirits, I want to reiterate that. Some have amazing abilities, intelligences, perceptions. Some have both.
Like Autism, Alzheimer patients that have been brought to me - and straddle both worlds. The difference lays in the exterior energy I can see on them, that "aura" thing. Folk with Autism have larger energy fields, whereas those with Alzheimer's have a regular energy BUT it is just to the side - no longer fused with the body - they are half here and half there. In both places there is confusion, but please don't worry about them in the spiritual plane - this is a temporary confusion. In Autism, the spiritual senses stay their whole lives, some able to disconnect from seeing spirits as it is not a socially accepted thing - they are able to sense that and they distance themselves from it after very hard work. Just like burgeoning mediums, I offer the advice: if the spirit world makes your life hard, ignoring the best you can - and your body (perhaps spiritual or physical) adapts to block it out completely after a time.
Should those with Autism be encouraged to communicate with spirits? That is a very, very hard question to ask. A good question. I am not nearly as intelligent as I need to be to answer it adequately, but I do hope to give you some advice from my experiences. The world is not ready for openness about spiritual abilities - not yet.  It should be made known that this is not something to be done in public if you choose to encourage it. It should never be a focal point, as the same ability to adapt blocking can go the other way and open you wider to the world of spirits. There are meditations one can do to control the aperture we see through - but it is harder to guide the Autistic from this world. They would need a spirit to be their guru. The person should never be a sideshow or seen as a freak of any kind. They should never feel superior about their ability and get prideful - they will not only get a bad attitude about it, worse: they will attract the wrong kind of spirit. They, like any one who sees spirits, is a magnet for all kinds of spirits. Good and bad, just like humans in life. I hope I am making sense. Listen, observe, record, be present. Understand the person is not less-than. They are humans. It is not for us to say if they are better than us, just like it isn't for us to say if they are inferior either. I'd like to think it's part of our evolutionary process, fine-tuning our spiritual awareness perhaps? Just like any steps in the ladder, there will be extreme hardships and extreme successes. I'd also like to think they were made perfect, as I believe we all are, with our part to play in this epic tale of humanity. If the great Creator, the Architect of us brothers and sisters made them this way - there must be equilibrium. Maybe not in the sublunary/workaday world most of us live in, but in the next world - the other world, their balance will be payed. I am a great believer in Its Equilibrium. I hate naming these things.. I am trying my best to just use words in the dictionary that best fit what I have seen.
In that light, the next part of this article comes: the formerly Autistic. Those who have done their duties here and crossed over to the other place. Again, I hate to use the word Gift as it connotes so many things I don't want to say here - I will just plainly-as-possible say it. Those who were Autistic are FAR from it in the other life. They are teachers, gurus, masters of the spiritual world. They understand things upon 'death' that some spirits learn only after centuries of being 'dead'. They can affect the living world more than most spirits can - using simple things from electricity to much more complex things like human thoughts. You really don't want to piss a spirit off with this illness, you really shouldn't anger any spirits, as people with spiritual abilities in life tend to have many times the ability of regular folk in death. I say that in a bit of joke, as people with that much spiritual connection in life tend to have a more mature sense of right/wrong ethics/morals or what I prefer to think of as hurting/hindering/blocking vs. healing/helping/facilitating. But when there is a lack of equilibrium, I find that spirits are often the ones to set things in balance. Sometimes in revenge, sadly, but mostly in justice. If one doesn't know the difference.. well that is an ingredient in the recipe for a serious, long term, and intense haunting. Back to the subject though.. sorry, my mind finds it difficult to focus on one spirit talking at a time, and one idea from my mind to the next. Hopefully it all gets out in a timely and cohesive fashion. I wanted to use cogent, but looked up the definition and the part of it being "persuasive" is not something I desire. I don't want to convince anyone, I want to put my experiences out there, you do with it what you *Will*. Abilities vary from person to person - but one can usually know how to separate this world from the next tons better than the average spirit. They understand the differences. They understand how to navigate both in ways and intensities that normal folk just can't without soooooo much education. No worries, we all eventually get there, it just takes time. Ug.. there is another loaded word ;) Time! Anyways, abilities on the stranger side range from being able to change/create lower/higher air pressures (creating winds, local change in barometric pressure, etc) to moving within living things like people, animals, even plants for however long they choose. They are also more in tune with the energy of knowledge in the universe. Akashic Records are a great illustration of that layer of the universe. Basically, able to connect with our collective consciousness - that lovely spiritual well of information.. everything that was, is, and will be thought. Some spirits say that's how they see the future, other spirits give other analogies - another post for another day if you're interested. For what they suffer in this life - balance is found on the other side, what some would call rewards. Like a "Pass Go 1 million times and collect your salary" sort of a massive head start. Of course this is all relative to their specific cases, I am told.
That being said, they should not hurry to the next world. NEVER should anyone be advised to hurry. This place is a school. This place is a womb. If you force someone to skip class, as it were, you are greatly disabling them in the next life. Be careful, it's not something to mess with.
I do not envy those fighting a mental battle, nor a spiritual one - it is a meretricious war that is being fought by those worthy of sainthood. The spirits who were once those soldiers of Autism are such guiding forces in the other place. They are beauty and wisdom and grace - topped off by usually killer senses of humor. They deserve our utmost respect and understanding. They are major conduits between this world and the next, teachers to guide us through the troubles of life and death, and above all - they are humans struggling through this school just as every other human. Balanced differently than the "normal" human, they stand mere centimeters away from being that "normal" human - only they and their guardians are burdened with being different - and different frightens the "normal" human. Now with more openness about the ailment, more public speakers, more education, and more access to research materials - it is already beginning to open horizons. Never soon enough, of course, but it is coming soon that you won't have to apologize for your perfectly perfect child doing what they were fated to do.  Cures will help retain the gift of Autism while destroying its hardships, programs will change the way the brain processes both worlds, and will help the subject focus on this world - the world they're in for learning.

Timetable
As with any timetable I give, these things are VERY difficult to pinpoint. I am not 100% right all the time, and neither are the spirits I speak to, so forgive me if I'm off. Were I 100% accurate I'd get lotto tickets enough to be crazy rich and help you out financially with this struggle.

4 years from now a spirit shows me "Venus in the Red Grave" on a piece of velvety maroon card, in gold writing. November perhaps. A public announcement about some one's private struggle with Autism. This raises awareness but also quite a bit of unpublicized money for several Autism charities.
5 - 5 1/2 years from now  - the Autism Revolution will become named and well known.
6 years from now - human testing of a controversial drug - used for something else beforehand - ADHD maybe or a similar abbreviation. Very similar. One of the subjects has a tandem illness unrealized - death is imminent it seems but he "pulls it through". The testing is leaked on a website most often visited by youths, leading to a social debate that puts the movement back a couple of years - a reader of this blog can stop that from happening and expedite the timeline. A trade embargo forces the lead researcher or developer to rethink methods or location. This hikes up the prices but also the quality of the cure. 6 doctors from "Quantum Co" or "Quali Company" do an invasive surgical procedure on an "x" in the brain, a long and stretched out x shape - this leads to temporary relief but long term care issues. Styrofoam or something that sounds like it is found to be a major cause in a specific type of Autism.
7 years from now - "Baker" or "Barker" or "Blaker" "Blake R" research labs discover a gene variable (vari something) that could point at a "northern culprit" for many North American and Northern Eurasian cases. Class action lawsuits also begin this year for "unethical testing" or "tasking" - no idea what most of this stuff means, I'm sorry. "Rested Institution" - maybe restitution, sounds like it, is played but fails. Frailty "case" won.
8 Years from now - renaming the movement for public relations, as it becomes tainted with bad connotations from a man or men who say they have Autism but do not - they perform acts of violence and vandalism.
9 Years from now - Blue custard (or Custar) "angeles" 5. I hate vague things but this might mean something to someone.
10 years from now - as things get further it's harder to interpret so I will just type all the words the spirits communicate. Silver medal, crucial turning, Germany, Vice resent blue as always, political office +1, "A cure becomes generally available" - but you get it from a country you wouldn't expect to, I think a European breakthrough by the look of the buildings they are showing me. Venus in the Red Grave is showcased. There is unrest in Libya (related??) that results in the death of a celebrity.
Not sure about where in the timetable these things are:
I keep seeing a blue pill that is part of the cure.
The steep increase in Autism rates will be understood and blamed on three sources. Great giants will fall due to this - much money will be lost and at least half of it is unfounded. That is, half of the money sued is deserved. People start bribing for diagnosis "pink sheets" of Autism so they can get this money. We're talking trillions of dollars all told - 1.5 or 2 trillion. This will change everything from supermarket product availability to massive disability overhauling regarding disability. Giants we've been used to for over 50 years will disappear over the course of a month. Trillions to me sounds like an exaggeration, surely it can't be that big. Unless it's representational of retroactive money lost over decades, an abstract number. But I know little about big, even medium lol, money
I will add more when I hear more. And I want to reiterate.. I hate vague readings, so I apologize, but it's possible these things can mean something to the right people.
(It feels so strange talking to a group of spirits who are all talking at once about the future. They pull you in a bit and make you feel so tired, drained. That part could be my illness.. but still it's very, very out of this world.)
*Will in the sense of what your life-will is, not whatever you want. Same in the sense of Crowley's golden rule: Do what thou wilt. It doesn't mean to do whatever you want, it means to do what your own soul's (your soul, not a foreign soul as one would say a ghost or spirit) progression (to move up in your own "ladder" of personal evolution) requirement (needed step for that evolution) for equilibrium and positivity wills you to do. For example, mine wills me to write about my experience so that others can use that data to help themselves or see things in a different light, different possibility, etc. Mine also wills me to go rest in a minute, regenerate and meditate - and also to keep communicating with spirits to get even more experiences to share. All in the quest to know my environment better, be it spiritual or material.

Kurt / Curt Iver / Iverson / Oversen Message

A spirit had a message for me, I googled his name in countless combinations to find a picture - or anything that could help his loved ones and friends to get the message - nothing so far but I will keep trying.

He said his name to me, not written, so any spelling permutations of the name are possible. For the purposes of facility, I am using the spelling Kurt to name him in this article.


What Kurt Looks Like:
Shaved head, Caucasian (maybe mixed ethnicity, not sure), smiling face, muscular. Eyes were hard to see. He reminded me a lot of Vin Diesel looks-wise. He wasn't too tall but in no way short. Between 5"8-6"1. He had a duffel bag with him, old, means a lot to him. Blue, maybe black but aged to a blue tint - with red and maybe orange accents. Wide but skinny like a gym bag. Made of nylon.. reminds me of 80's style.

Personality:
Very friendly, very generous, very helpful. He likes to be free, moving, out in the open. He might have had difficulties staying in one place, I think he spent some time homeless. But his spirit is so amazing, potent. He attracted a lot of girls' attention, and was quite blunt (but honorable) in turning many of them down. It was hard to see his preference in women, almost randomly attracted to certain girls. He was generous - giving away time and money to help others. He is very open - but still manages a mysterious nature - a few choice secrets but the rest is open to the world. He treats people like extended family.

Misc Details:
He was known in his hometown and further a bit - for his athletic ability. Hockey I'm pretty sure. Maybe lacrosse. He loved sports, working out- his muscles were defined so I assume he was into lifting weights. He's Canadian, or spent a lot of time IN Canada. His accent would say he's either from Canada or the USA. Mid country for either I think. These things are hard to pin point.

The Message
Kurt's message was to his friends first - he's sorry he left them so young, but it was his time. He loved a brown haired firecracker, he wants everyone to know. But he wasn't as at ease with people as most thought. He was tortured at times by his claustrophobia being in homes, buildings. Sometimes people took it personally, he wants them to know it wasn't personal.
 To his family AND friends: He hated being in enclosed spaces. Ever since he was a kid. I'd say between 7-9 years of age. He put up with it though, tried to hide it. A lot of people were worried about him. He says one time he went somewhere away from home without money, he was stuck there. He doesn't recall why he went that day, but he was pressed to do so. He tried calling but hadn't even enough to call. The trains, the buses... he felt pushed aside, brushed aside. He hung out with four girls for a while and chatted, and felt this was a good place to stay until he had money - at a picnic table, sheltered. The girls stayed with him, one - Tanya - offered him a place in her home, but he didn't want to lead her on, and her home was small. Another of the girls was homeless for sure, one I'm not sure about. Two of them had homes. He liked the open air feeling, but he was SO worried about his family. Especially his Mother. He felt he disappointed her and he apologizes. It was not her fault. He loved the mountains in the distance, snowy mountains. I think the Rockies.
He sends hugs, love, adoration and admiration. He is with you, as all ghosts are with the ones they love. He is with you in your dreams - that is him, not just your mind.  He wants to be sure you know his love is HUGE - "Fat" love! And now he is in the Fat Blue Sky  - wandering the Earth and "beyond" with friends, family he knew while he was alive.. and "tons of new friends" he's met after his death.
Finally, and I think importantly:
He doesn't care about punishing those responsible for his death. He wants you to let go and love him again. Talk to him again, he's there.

Are Ouija Boards Safe?

(ongoing post, I'll remove this after final edits)

Ouija, also known as a Talking Board, Witch Board, Soul Board, and the all too popular "WeeJee Board"

Ouija is one of those spooky additions to most sleepovers and Halloween parties a lot of people have come in contact with at an early age. Children love to spook eachother out, especially to test their bravery and belief. Many culture have had such tests of spiritual courage,  many people have created their own tests, many a heart tested. I won't get into the history of Ouija, as if you wanted to know the history you'd probably just Google it - I will tell you my experiences as a Medium with Ouija.

Ouija is an interesting concept: write all letters, numbers, yes/no, day/night and the spooky "goodbye" on a paper, board, etc - add a Planchette - a pointer with ample space for at least two hands to use - and let spirits move your hands to spell out what they want to say.

It's also interesting that spirits want to do this at all. Firstly, it takes a long time to spell something out, and most of the time people move it themselves - thus nullifying the ghost requirement. Secondly, most ghosts tend to not have messages for people having a laugh and sometimes even mocking the spirit world. Although sometimes people seriously use this tool, it is often that test of wills. Who will spell "Die" and who will spell "Kiss" and who will spell "Elvis" or "Devil"? Lastly, spirits don't always pay attention to people calling them. Proper names and focusing on their essential character/behavior/nature can summon/call/entreat them to come, but just asking for any old spirit.. well that can be difficult.

Most times when the Ouija actually works, there is a spirit in the area. Now the spiritual plane of existence doesn't seem to have x-y-z axis. They can be in several place on Earth at any given time, and I have know some to be "exterior explorers" as they call themselves - spirits that travel extra-terrestrially - away from Earth. I find that those explorers are less attentive to what's going on here, however, but if something takes their attention they return focus.

An example is this:
A spirit who is bonded to a house, fairly dormant, minding its own business, listens casually and just goes about its regular activities. Spirit day to day life is a world apart from ours. Playing Ouija, a couple catches the attention of the spirit fully, wholly, and engages in communication. The spirit could go a bunch of ways:
1) The spirit could get annoyed if the message is not being clearly understood. It tries harder and harder - finally giving up and going back to the status quo. A good thing.
2) The spirit gets annoyed and frustrated - again, not being clearly understood. It tries hard and harder and harder - until it gets it's point across, sometimes taking years. A haunting.
3) The spirit gets angry when the people insult it through laughter. It ignores them. Neutral Outcome.
4)  The spirit gets angry "" but doesn't ignore them and persists in scaring them. A bad haunting.
5) The spirit gets angry "" doesn't ignore, but instead of scaring them, goes very far for revenge - not fear - but injury. Extreme haunting.
6) The spirit's message is heard but people are in disbelief. Pass it off as coincidence etc. The spirit is okay with that and goes about it's normal life. Good.
7) The spirit's message is heard but mocked. Ignores people- Neutral.
8) The spirit's message is heard, mocked. Anger/Revenge - bad to extreme haunting again.
9) The spirit's message is heard and respected. Good? Maybe. More things can occur:
   a) The spirit craves more attention and goes on for months trying to speak again but in a kind way. Ok. Not a bad thing but this can be rather terrifying for some.
   b) The spirit is done. Good.
   c) The spirit want help. Good - but can be hard tasks ahead.
   d) The spirit feels powerful and tries to form advantage over the people, dominating. Bad.
   e) The Spirit tells its friends, and some of them are not nice people. Bad.
   f) The Spirit is lonely and needs company, starts a lifelong bond. Can be good, can be bad. Just like with humans - some friends are good and some are bad. Except with spirits, they live next to you - watch you, and can manipulate you.

I could go on, but I think my point is made: with all the things that can go wrong - make a choice. Are you willing to take a risk? Are you confident everyone in the room will be civil? Are you sure your mind is clear enough and won't jumble the communication?

The good scenarios are not as important as the bad scenarios, and so I will focus on them.

What to do if a Ghost is Behaving Badly - IE: Hauntings of a Negative Nature

This is something I have wanted to do for quite some time. I have, however, posted about these things a few times, like in

The Effects of Spiritual Proximity on the Body - which deals with what spirits near you can trigger in the body - such as hallucinations, alien-to-your-mind thoughts, etc.

I am sure there's more. And will be more. Please forgive my incoherence once in a while, I tend to write in meditation so my spirit friends can speak to me, correct me, and add things while I type. Once in a while I open up a little too far and am foggy.

I would like to talk about the difference between a good haunting and a bad haunting. Sounds weird, doesn't it? A Good Haunting? The dictionary says this defining the word "haunting". When I use the word, I have a different definition. My definitions, not THE definition. I humbly accept that I am at odds with popular new age culture. Humbly? I mean happily ;)

Haunting: a soul which frequents a place, person, or thing.
A Good Haunting: when a helpful, happy, pleasant soul frequents a person, place, or thing.
A Bad Haunting: when a violent, angry, terrifying soul frequents a person, place, or thing.

I am unsure if the theory that some hauntings are caused by an intense emotional event repeating itself over and over - ad nauseum. Since I don't KNOW yet for sure that is a thing, I don't like to talk about it like it is. I dislike when people come up with all sorts of things they are not half sure of and pass it off like it's a law of physics. But that's another post. So for this, I will say Soul to simplify, keep in mind that sometimes I just don't know what it is. Yet ;)

I have seen some pretty scary ghosts in my time. I have seen things not yet thought up in horror movies yet. I have seen things that have made me cry like a baby, things that I run away from - and seeing as Mr. Meaty (a skinless apparition of a dead aluminum smelter) doesn't even make me flinch after a few seconds, know that these scarier things are - well.. downright terrifying. They have made me question my faith and at times question my sanity. If it were not for the high volume of correct details - crazy details impossible to know without access to spirits- I would probably be sure of craziness. That being said, there are some hauntings that would make even the most horrifying of horror flicks seem like a Disney "horror" themed movie.

If there are children involved, the elderly, or other fragile folk - please find a good reputable and true medium that can speak to spirits well. Never leave anyone in your home you don't know alone - always have a friend there to watch over the process.

There are steps to take if you are in a situation like this.

1) Paranormal Investigators are not always a Good Idea
Don't hire paranormal investigators without a real medium - that is, someone who can actually have a back and forth communication with the dead. Non-medium investigators are usually (but not always) out to get some media proof of spirits they can either add to their collection, spread on the Internet to get hits, get a TV show deal, or other money making ways. True Mediums will be able to contact the spirit properly - not dabbling - and calm the situation down. If you get a bunch of newbie-to-the-paranormal college kids with a digital sound recorder, video camera with infra red, maybe even a Geiger counter or motion detecting cameras - you'll seriously piss the ghost(s) off instead of helping in most cases. Most paranormal investigators without access to the spirit world are trying to prove to themselves that there is life after death - not to help get RID of your ghost, but to provoke it into showing itself and giving concrete proof. I already know there is life after death, no doubt in my mind whatsoever. I don't know all about it, as it's like asking someone to know everything about the Earth. We just can't know it all without being giant omniscient brains.

I want to stop here to say: I encourage proof finders. I encourage paranormal investigators. I encourage people without access to the spiritual realm to reach out; but I do not encourage people who don't know the first thing about real ghosts to say they can get rid of a scary-ass angry-as-a-newly-branded-bull seeing someone hittin' on his sexy cow! Seriously though: that is beyond dangerous. They can turn a somewhat annoying haunting into a full on Nightmare on Your Street. It could cause property damage, bodily damage, even death.

If you want to find proof of the afterlife for yourself, do so cautiously. I want to write about that soon! Safe places to do these investigations. Ways to get spirits to manifest without angering them, insulting them etc. There are many ways to do it without torturing the haunted home's owner and of course the spirit(s) in question. You might end up attaching the ghost to yourself if you don't do it right. Sounds cool, but the reality of it is far from. Most people, including the police, will think you're nuts, doing this all to yourself, and if you have children - and the children get hurt - who do you think will end up going to jail and losing their kids?

This also doesn't mean you shouldn't document the haunting. The paranormal teams which are serious and have access to spiritual communication are documenting the haunting for several purposes: evidence, clues as to what the spirit wants (see 2), clues as to who the spirit is, clues as to what exactly is being haunted, etc.

2) Resisting the Urge to Insult the Spirit
Know how to respond! It's not an easy thing, sadly. Unlike bullies, you can't fight back or try to avoid them in most cases. Some spirits want you to do something for them, hear them, others want you to be as miserable as they are, others are puckish mischief makers who just want a laugh. Others still want you out of their house, or away from their item, etc.  If you can find out what it wants, you're halfway there. A good rule of thumb is to say:
- "I can't understand what you're trying to say." adding you can't hear/see/sense the spirit if you are not a medium, or even if you are -some spirits are harder to see than others.
- "I want to help you, but I can't if you keep scaring me." (and my family, pets, etc if you have any around the haunting)
- "I feel you're upset and I empathize/sympathize with you." NEVER "pity"! Word choice is important when talking to a sensitive spirit.
- "It must be something really horrible that happened to you, is there someone else who can help you or hear your words?"
- "I hope you find a resolution to your pain and anguish, but I can't help you."
Do not encourage it to be violent!
    Don't say something like:
"Give me your worst" or "you're a pussy" or "you're pathetic" or "I hope you rot in Hell" etc. Bad idea. Even if you are trying to get proof on tape, you might actually make the ghost understand what you want, and he/she will not give you proof. They'll just wait until a time you don't have your equipment, thus freaking you out without documented proof. Spirits aren't dumb, they're as intelligent, usually much more, as living humans. They have a lot more time to think about how best to get their revenge if you upset them - no sleep, no work, no distractions.

3) Alone Time from the Spook.
Have a break. It is important to get away from the situation if you can. If this is possible.  Go live with a friend or family member for a while, go on vacation if you can, or just get out of the house for a walk. Sometimes you can't, as they are haunting you and a place or thing that can be left behind. Go to a holy place, a place connected with your religious belief. I don't know if they all work, but I have been in some buildings that are just devoid of spirits and full of a bright energy - it's strange.  I am not sure what it is, but it is the same feeling I get when I get to see the beautiful place, the Summer place filled with happy spirits - maybe it's Heaven, Nirvana - universal consciousness - The Other Side, or whatever you call it, or maybe it's a type of spirit that is less humanoid looking and more amorphous energy - maybe even something inhuman, animal, older, ritualistic force (cleansing), or something completely unknown. I don't want to say it's God, because I just don't know. Maybe someday I will have a better idea, but I also don't think God is knowable.. we're just babies in a playpen fumbling to learn and grow in my opinion. I will tell you what little I have heard, seen, felt, etc at some point, but I am also scared to cause religious controversy. I believe religion is a personal journey toward the Creating Force/Being. I like the term Architect or Parent or best of all: Artist.
Anyways, some buildings seem to have the respect of many ghosts, and a lot of them won't follow you into hallowed spaces. Maybe it's fear, maybe religion, code of honor), I don't know for sure. I doubt the really cruel spirits care about honor, however.
A break away from the haunting will give you time to be yourself, stripping away the ichor of such a traumatic experience into the succor of spiritual peace! Like a soul stretch, cleansing. See number 9 for cleansing during this experience.

4) Documentation
If you don't have a proper investigation team to do it for you - document everything you can about the haunting.  Digital recorders are often better than analog, old school recorders - same goes for cameras. Why? If you use a used tape to tape spirits talking/yelling/communicating, the old "image" of the sound will be behind it. You can even hear it at times if you turn it up loud enough, and most people use post production filters to increase the sound of what might be a ghost talking. I am going to talk about EVP soon, but for now just document it.  Write everything pertinent down, or type it out. Take photographs and samples if there is spiritual manifestations like liquid, foam, solids and gaseous matter. I know it's hard to contain gaseous specimens, but sometimes it helps to get a sterile jar and try to get some particles inside. Might be enough for a very well equipped team's lab. Although I doubt regular dudes carry mass spectrometers or a full chemical stock to test it manually. Microscopes can sometimes be enough. Condensation can occur and a slide of the resulting liquid or solid can reveal cell structure if it's organic. I have seen the delightful red doughnuts of red blood cells in the liquid stuff before. You can't tell its blood until you see it under the microscope. But of course you have to eliminate if the blood is there for other reasons. Sadly, sometimes people say they are haunted when there is horrible domestic violence to cover up their crime. But this is more of a DIY - so you'll know if someone has bled on the ceiling, walls, floor, furniture, etc. Blood is not a common thing, using it as an example here, but you might find matter that should not be present inside the goo or guck. There are many impressive dichotomous keys online for free for those wanting to identify what the matter is - something which REALLY helps when you're trying to figure out what an organic cell is, or even mineral sample. These are basically maps that help you figure out what you're looking at - starting with cell shape or size, moving on to median details, and finally going to the tiny details like nucleus appearance, the presence of certain structures like Golgi Apparatus, organelles for photosynthesis, etc. There are also tests to detect specific chemicals that you can order, if you're wanting to do all the work yourself.  They are either in sprays, kits, strips of paper, and so on, depending on the test. This can be a wild goose chase, but if you're interested in going hardcore for a documentary (or what have you) - it's nice to pull out all the stops to show you are doing more than just trying to figure out if what you took a picture of is an orb, dust mote, bug, or light reflected or projected.. Cause a lot of the time orbs are just those, not all, but most of the time. I have seen spirits take the form of perfect spheres, and I have seen photographs of them from extensively reliable sources. I am rambling.

Label all with times and dates, and an explanation of the material/subject matter contained. This is extremely important when gathering data - as times may be of paramount importance. Patterns may arise or a series of numbers that mean something to the haunting.

5) Religious Methods
Prayers! Lovely! Spirits can understand you better when you are calm, clear, and in Alpha state (meditative calm and relaxed yet fully awake kinda state). But what's more than just calm is Religious Belief. If you believe, and you pray to God, spirits - a lot of the time but not all of the time, tend to get a little bothered. They can sometimes leave for fear, or take a little vacation, or even go bother someone else. It's worth a try! Personally I believe this is a powerful tool, but also a spiritually strengthening and ameliorating process. It nourishes your soul and brings you closer to understanding the spirits around you - however.. Any overzealous approach to religion seems to shut the spirit in, as if you are pushing, crushing it, into a small space in the darkest corner of your being. Religion should not be life, nor should many other thing -  but a friend, a parent, a guardian angel to watch over you. Anything hard line and the benefit is gone, spirits tend shrink away from people like that - well the good ones anyways. Internalize, it's a private garden for your soul to rest and be renewed.. But if at any time you start being negative in religion, it turns to decay and regression. I have seen hardcore religious people's ghosts, and they are indeed regretful of hurting others in the name of religion. Love is the way to a stronger spirit, and if your spirit is steeped in it, you will be more protected against the cruel spirits. Religion is wonderful!  I'm not against any religion, I am all for them, and know they are nourishment in the right hearts. I will be covering spiritual development soon.

6) Manipulation
This is usually not a good idea unless you know what you're doing and how to shield yourself from being "found out" by the spirit. Lying to the spirit can sometimes help, and so can steering the ghost in another direction. I do not mean you should tell them to visit your cranky old neighbor that you dislike wholly - I mean steer them somewhere good like the "Other Side".
Lying to spirits is something, unfortunately, one has to do sometimes. I dislike having to do so, but there are some times when telling them only the truth will keep them your guest for more time than you desire. If a spirit is haunting your family, for example, you might start using another last name in letter writing, conversation, etc. I have even heard of one woman who printed out a few fake diplomas and family trees - and framing them. This will sometimes work, as it will confuse the spirit. They don't see our world with eyes, but with their own sensory experience. Changing the furniture around and painting the walls a new very different colour will work with some spirits, others just see the people inside it, anything spiritual like plants. Some spirits can see amazing amounts of details, others are tunnel-visioned, so to speak, and will only see the target. Lying and saying you and the house is not what it thinks will sometimes lead spirits into intense confusion and you have a nice chance of either having a break or ending the haunting all together. BUT - some spirits will be quite enraged. They will see through it and see it as an insult - everything gets worse. This is not the option I recommend to anyone who hasn't much training in mental control or acting.
What I do recommend is manipulation, at times. When a spirit seems happy when you're sad.. pretend to be sad even if you're happy. Play act that you are near insanity and self-destruction. This is not so much a lie as trying to give the spirit what it wants. After a while of this, they will sometimes just get bored and move on - like a bully who just approaches his/her target and sees them cry day after day. It just isn't as much fun for them. This option is rarely a good one, but in some cases will help. Use extreme caution and discretion. If you have children in the house, don't do this. If there is a child involved, find a real medium to help, find a friend to watch over the process - and go live with relatives until it is gone and done.

7) Make Friends
Sometimes talking to the spirit as if they are a part of the family helps. Love is more than likely going to help the situation. I have found, in my personal experience, this usually relaxes a situation considerably. I will say stuff like "Hello" "How are you?" "Oh I am glad you're here, I have to tell you what happened today on my walk!" etc. (One spirit, Yosef, came through as I was typing this and seemed interested in the computer.  Looking over my shoulder, then inside and toward the case, and was consumed by the music I have playing. Such a gentleman! He says hello to Mildred, she is close to a reader apparently, and that he left the key "inside the porch" - and that he loves her.) When you are sad, it's also good to let it out and share with the spirit if it has not shown any signs of violence/hatred towards you. Some hauntings are just lonely spirits, wandering spirits that are taking a break from constantly moving (havoc on the mind to keep wandering apparently), spirits that want attention, spirits that want to be loved, spirits that want a family, or spirits that guard you and are trying to warn you about something.
Most of the hauntings I have seen fall under a few categories: guardians trying to warn the person, territorial defense, and interaction-seeking from the living.
In territorial defense, you might win over a spirit with kindness. If kindness and love create negative reactions each time, then another approach is needed.
In Guardians warning, kindness will not work. They are already fans of yours, you need to figure out the warning. The activity they create will lead towards clues. Clues are probably staring you right in the face, but it's hard to see what's familiar. Say guesses aloud, and see if the spirit answers. Be very careful. Lock your doors, make sure your fire alarms are up to date and fully powered, don't trust strangers, look to your friends - do any of them seem to be acting strangely? Just take a temporary analytical stock of your day to day life and try to figure out the warning. Don't assume you should just lock yourself in your home, because the home may be the warning. Is there a gas leak? Is there a new crack in your foundation? Is your plumbing acting funny? Remember - the more intense the activity, the bigger the approaching problem. Slight activity could mean a peeping tom, for example, where as increasing activity could mean the peeping tom is upgrading to a sexual predator, insanely intense activity - he's graduated to full blown psycho killer with a penchant for cannibalism. I take on an insanely paranoid role when trying to figure out what the spirits want when they don't answer as normal spirits do.. guessing hundreds of things every day until the spirit smiles and nods. Or gives me a sarcastic "thank you" clap and eye rolling. That, unfortunately for me, happens way too often ;) Why can some spirits talk so fluently while others seem mute? I have no idea.
Interaction seekers, attention (ok more later, have to take a break.. rain = pain!!!! Fourth day in a row writing tho, I am so happy. Special thanks to my dear T.K. for offering to edit - I will write you soon sweety :D ) I will post first, and edit on Saturday.

8) Annoying Them - experienced communicators only!
Some spirits are easily annoyed. I want to stress that annoying some spirits will make things worse. I was going to share a technique on how to annoy the right kind of spirit.. But determined it was too dangerous, and very irresponsible of me to even consider. It is rare to find a situation in which the technique will work. A spirit must be perfectly suited. Just think of a spiritual haunting as a person interested in buying a home next to yours, for the sake of this example. However, they get to stay for a month to test the waters, so to speak. They are highly undesirable (otherwise you wouldn't be wondering how to get rid of them) and there is no way you could remain in your home if they set up permanently next door. The house has very thin walls, you can hear each other's conversations and various quotidian noises of life. You hatch a plan to get rid of them, but if you want to be successful - you must tailor it to their personality. This analogy works for the entire article. If the spirits are unmoved by anything you do: annoyance will probably yield weak results, if any; if the spirits copy what you do and intensify it: annoying them will most likely reciprocate threefold, and believe me, spirits can annoy like champs if they so feel; if the spirits tend to dislike sounds and commotion and prefer peace and quiet: annoying might take great effort but a spirit which delights in a library-quiet will most likely opt for any house but the one next to yours. There are hundreds of different situation, and I cannot think of more than a handful where this would work. If you have determined without a doubt that the spirit would want to "move out" due to bad jokes, bad manners, lewd conduct, extreme noise, or really bad country music etc.. Then you know what to do ;)
An example of this was a spirit who wanted me to help her get revenge on her husband for cheating on her. I firmly and frequently told her I do not cause harm and to find another medium with less ethic objections. She was quite angry and kept on pushing the request. She got these awful songs in my head, bad muzak and tone-deaf lounge crooners, and would not stop. She knew my weakness for the repeato-jukebox trick. I meditated and got into a deep relaxed state - and took a close look at her. I can, if my pain is not too bad and I can get comfy enough to reach deep meditation, see spirits so intimately! I will write more on this later, but suffice it to say I found out SHE had a weakness... Hardcore Dirty South Rap. Why? Her son would play it full blast in his room well into the night! Causing rap insomnia lol! So I found some, made a play list, and played it whenever she was around. There you have how I discovered I enjoyed some DS rap. I usually listen to classical, instrumental folk music, and music with a relaxing feel, but over the years I have discovered many types of music due to my beloved incorporeal friends.

9) Cleansing
I can only tell you in certainty what I have experienced, and cannot vouch for the some of the methods, but I will nonetheless share a couple that fellow mediums have told me about and asked me to share.

9a: Cleansing the Body
Sometimes my soul feels "dirty", for lack of a better word so far, after a negative communication with spirits. Well, to be honest, sometimes I feel that with people too when they are negative or draining. I look forward to talking about that too, but now I stick to the topic at hand. When that happens, the dirty feeling I mean, I take a few steps taught to me by a spirit guru. A ghost which I have seen on and off for the past decade and more. First, I meditate to clear my mind. I take a warm shower or bath - and clean as much as possible. The physical cleansing. I proceed to the emotional cleansing and make a list of the emotions I am feeling - and find which ones are alien - from the spirit and not from myself - and focus on the emotions that I am producing. Then the spiritual cleansing! I visualize a blinding white light pouring down on me, warm and fuzzy, and pray as it washes over me - asking to be cleansed. I call it a Holy Light - but you don't have to. You could ask your guardian spirits to do it for you, or you could ask a friend to visualize this with you as well to increase the cleansing's efficacy. Always thank whatever energy you bathe in to cleanse. I finish up by drinking a glass of filtered water and a meditation to work on my personal barriers. Barriers are important whenever speaking to spirits, in my opinion. It is not some magic trick, but a training of the mind to recognize invasion/intrusion and push back against it. We have souls. We are bodies with a ghost inside, puppeteering - with the right training, I think - I believe - that we could do anything the spirits can do. Can we live long enough to do that? I don't know. Can we find the right teachers for us? I think that depends on each person. Can we then control the soul without the puppet getting in the way? I don't know, but I think so.

9b: Cleansing the Place
Many mediums and mystics swear by burning sage and/or Lemongrass around the house. The incense is fine but apparently the bundled herbs are what they usually use. At the heart of any cleansing ritual is meditation. It isn't the herbs that do the work, in my opinion (although I don't discount it), but the meditation and the mind and soul behind that ritual. Rituals get us into contact with our spirit. You've no doubt felt it during a religious ritual or successful meditation. You get into a calm feeling, an alpha wave state, time seems to slow, things seem clearer, your mind is more quiet. That is when I am most able to see spirits. That is when I can communicate the best.
Anyways, meditate before any of what you're about to do in  a cleansing and breathe evenly, calmly, and consciously. Relaxing or exotic music can sometimes help. Get your tools: your candle and/or incense, holy text, incense/herbs to burn, talisman etc. Tools vary per person. Personally I go with just my mind and a cross around my neck and say prayers. Visualize the same blinding white light filling your home. Walk around it, if need be, and visualize it all - WILL it all to be clean. Envision a powerful sphere of that energy starting in the center of the place and pushing all negativity outward as it grows and cleans along the way any residual spiritual energy. Repeat as desired! Then, once you feel it cleaner (you'll know) - picture the light staying as a dome of impenetrable armor around the area. Guarding the place. Believe it. Will it. If you half arse this, it won't be effective. If people are giggling, talking and generally breaking your concentration, it won't be as effective. Maybe not effective at all.

9c: Cleansing the Object(s)
Same thing as Cleansing the Place: warm-fuzzy-blinding light over the object(s), then make a large bubble around the area. Additional ways that were shared:
- get holy water and bathe the object in it.
- get the object blessed
- send the object away to be returned - sometimes the journey is enough

When all else fails.. I say bury it, get rid of it, or burn it safely. Please don't sell it to some unsuspecting person!!! If someone knows the history, and is 100% sure they can handle it.. go ahead if the haunting is nonviolent.

10) Tried and Tested - Antique and Ancient ways
Of course there are traditional ways: exorcisms, shamanic cleansing, binding spells... There are ways to go about finding these things, thank goodness for the Internet - but make sure you check out their story beforehand. It is almost impossible to get an exorcism without serious proof. Proof that leaves no room for doubt.. then authorization can take a long time, bla bla... But there are many holy trained people who can try an exorcism. Your local Wiccan coven, local Shaman, local Priest, Rabbi, and other holy folk etc can usually help. Will they? Depends how nice they are, and how sane your story appears to them. Usually exorcisms are not given freely. You might have to keep looking for weeks if not months. If it is violent and consistent, keep persisting until one of them agrees. I would suggest moving if the spirit is stationary - its territory meaning everything to it and you meaning nothing I mean. I cannot help with these ways but I hope to get some numbers and addresses/other contact information to give to those in need. Some mediums say the ancient salt-barrier works (placing salt around the boundaries of your home, at each entry point, and even in clusters where the activity is great. I have used brick dust and salt with garlic at one point, and it seemed to do the trick. That was something I learned in my Vodun studies, but I generally don't do it unless nothing else works - last resort - as my neighbors tend to look at me strangely. I'd rather they not know ;)

11)  Sharing
Share your life with the spirit. Just like in Making Friends with a Spirit - except in more detail. Do not show your weaknesses, but show things about yourself that can make the spirit relate to you. These are people. If you are in their home, it's good to make friends and be kind. Tell them about your life and the struggles you have been through. Tell them about your interests and your childhood. As they get to know you - they might like you and instead of haunting you negatively - they will watch over you and yours. It's a beautiful experience. It's always good to know some one's got your back, right?



- Concluding Thoughts
This is not a guide to print out and DIY. I wanted to give you some ideas that have either worked for myself, or people I trust implicitly. Hauntings require tons of research, but they also require your will and your beliefs to get rid of or live with. I know it can be horrible. Especially when no one believes you and you're working hard to get proof when you should be getting help! People treating you like you're crazy, gossiping, judging in absolute harshness.. No one knows what a haunting does to a person except those who have gone through it. As always I am here to help - but as I am sick it's often hard for me to write quickly. If you put "EMERGENCY" in the subject line - it'll be immediately flagged. (I apologize if your mail is not replied to right away - as I apologize to non-emergencies that sometimes get lost in the system. I am trying now to schedule time to write and read emails - as well as hopefully helpful posts.)
Think of your haunting as a human being, not as some wafting cloud. Use human psychology but with a twist - remove bodily restrictions. No sleep, no eating, no physicality, no barriers. But also they can be incredibly lonely. The ones that hang on to their hate and revenge lust, the ones that do not want to admit they are dead.. they are so lonely sometimes it breaks the heart even if they are behaving badly.  Sometimes it helps to tell them: "You are dead. Move on."
I have not seen "crossing over" in the spirit world necessarily. Spirits that pass on are able to come back, and then go back to the Heavenly place. Tell the spirits it is okay to cross over, because they CAN come back. Because it's not a one way trip. They can still see their families grow and protect their children. Moving on means emotionally moving on from whatever haunts THEM. And when you find out what is haunting them, usually they will stop haunting YOU.
But some ghosts cannot be reasoned with easily. Some will take years. Take heart, however, there are people out there than can help, will help you. Just keep trying!

Please don't take this the wrong way. I adore letters, they make me smile when things are dark and remind me that what I do is not something unnecessary.

1) If it's an emergency (unwanted haunting, suicidal, et cetera)
2) If I can answer it on my weblog (I can make names, places, etc have different names to retain anonymity)
3) If you have other email addresses I can mail you back in case I am backlogged

The Difference Between Hunters and Seekers...

*I want to preface this by saying I am not saying not to watch (or that watching is bad or producing is bad)) any ghost hunting/paranormal show. this is a reference piece on consideration when communicating with the dead in order to create a lasting and strong relationship with the spirits around you. This article is designed for personal use when conversing with most spirits. Most spirits expect a certain amount of respect and manners.

Hello everyone,

I know it's been a very long time since my last post and I apologize. You are probably aware my various health issues so I think I'll skip along right content. I am insanely happy to be posting today an article which I've been working on for a little while.
I want to address "ghost hunting". I think the biggest problem today is that ghost hunting, by the very label, is hunting. They don't use the word seeking or searching or even probing (although I'm kind of glad they don't) but hunting. The connotations and that are insulting to anybody living or dead. People wanted that picture of a ghost, they want proof, maybe they want to make money off it or maybe just wanted for their own personal edification but either way they are forgetting several things in the way they present themselves to the living and the dead.
The dead have feelings just like we do, but those feelings can be worlds apart from ours as their needs are tremendously different to ours and their suffering differently flavored as well. Ghosts can sometimes feel more pain we can deeper, harder, colder emotional pain. They understand immortality and that big question stuff we all want to know the answers to is common knowledge to many of them. Is there life after death: absolutely. There's no doubt in my mind whatsoever that there is life after death and that life is the bulk of what we are shadow to-we are the fetus and they are the adult. They see their family suffering their loved ones hurting, and usually there's nothing they can do. People like me who can help are rare and usually mental institutions for their oddball view of this most interesting world. I don't openly say the doctors that I see ghosts because I know better, but some people are more trusting and more eager to get the word out to the masses. Maybe it's a sign of patience in me or maybe it's cowardice: whatever it is I don't think the world is ready to hear it all in one big megaphone scream. I think a lot of cultures are ready but human beings as a whole are not ready to hear that ghosts real. I don't think they're ready to see the consequences of never-ending life. Possible never-ending life. I don't know: in 1 billion years maybe spirits will die. They don't answer any questions about the future when it comes to their existence or lack thereof down the line.
So when you see one of those shows, what's the first thing you think of when it comes to their posture? For me it seems like they are approaching a dangerous lion, maybe a man eater. Their careful and act like Steve Irwin peeking between ferns at a beautiful specimen of crocodile (I am sure now he gets to really get into the study of animals without fear even though it must be hard to be without his loves) but without the respect that Steve used to so generously give to the species.
We must respect the spirit as a human would be respected. I want to list some of the things here partly as a reminder to myself… We must all retrain ourselves often to contact another: dead or alive.
1. This is their territory. For some reason they've attached to this particular place may love it or maybe they hated but they have to be there for some reason. Just like some people stay in a house they hate because maybe they can't move. What if someone were to just come in your home set up a bunch of electronic crap, which does bother them in some way on another level, and started ask you personal questions? Ghost hunters often try to dig up dirt on the spirit so that they can affect a very intense reaction from the spirit. I don't remember what the show was called, but one show prided itself on this sort of bullying of spirits in order to get a reaction. Coating the spirit by bringing up horrible events. Sure if you remind the victim of the crime was perpetrated against them, you will get a response that is much more intense than if you asked him how the weather's doing. But put together but this is their home and their pain with intruders reminding them of what keeps them fixated after death… That sort of cruelty, living or dead, will most likely elicit a response.
A. Try not to touch any objects that may be associated with spirit or the spirit territory. Just put yourself in their shoes, and try to think is this object something that they were attached to? Obviously a broken lightbulb might have less meaning than a beloved toy. If you see it all that's been well played with, assume that it is an important object and therefore don't touch it. If you must touch it touch it with respect. Even talk to it like a child would talk to it during play. Now broken lightbulb or some such similar thing, might look like it's not really poor and: but it might have been involved in the crime or event that caused the spirit great pain. So just be as careful as possible.
B. There are some rooms in the house of spirits will defend more than others. This depends on the age in which the spirit was alive, the connection the room and the spirit have (for example of the spirit died in that room), and if that room was of particular significance to that particular spirit or someone that's beloved or detested by the spirit. Of course as a whole bunch of other things to consider but I want to finish this article before Christmas. Of course most of us know that the age is important as there were different traditions during different times. For example, the kitchen nowadays might be a center of the home for the homeowners: in another time the kitchen might've been a place of business for the help and the homeowners wouldn't even step foot in it and therefore would not be an important place for certain spirits but a place other spirits would be hip deep in. I know it's a pretty crappy example but you catch my drift right? Bedrooms are very important and often for those who only had their room as their property (such as children or unmarried singles living with their family) this would be the center of their world. You can often tell this by personal touches. In some instances these personal touches are easily visible, such as carving and name into the wood of a headboard - family pictures plastering a wall - diaries, love letters, treasures, etc. these places should be treated with the utmost respect and reverence. Bathroom should be left alone for several reasons. LOL. If you want to communicate with the spirit the best room to do it in the living room or foyer. Some houses will have receiving rooms. Any room that you would invite someone into to converse over coffee and left is the place of the meeting should occur: any place that you would be ashamed or feel uncomfortable bringing anyone into for our first meeting is a place to avoid.
C. Do not mock objects, rooms, decor, smells, the state of the home or object, or anything else associated with the spirit if you wish to have a meaningful conversation and not insult or provoke the spirit. This is pretty self-explanatory, I hope, and will serve you well in your quest to meet the spirit. Spirit have all the time in the world mess around with you if you pass them off as fools. If you really want to have a meaningful conversation with the spirit or any mocking will end the possibility of anything but animosity or silence.
D. If the spirit is particularly attached to one particular object or specific part of said object: best not to touch it, best not to even look at it, just leave it alone altogether. If you need for some reason to talk about it broach the subject with reverence and patience. Offer them a gift such as a similar object for the privilege of touching it or talking about it. Ghost do like their gifts. I know it sounds strange but you don't think our ancient ancestors' offering altars for millennia were wrong? You like gifts right? Well so do they. :-)
2. Watch your language. Certain words are perfectly acceptable today that were swears in the past. It is really difficult for someone who can't hear spirits to know what age they are from. Sometimes it's impossible. Sometimes the place or object has commonly known history or history recorded in books, articles, etc. Do your research, take precautions, always use a tone of amiability and try to feel calm and at peace while talking to spirits.
A. In certain situations, you will find it helpful to craft questions before you ask them aloud. Tailor the questions as precisely as you can. What I find helps is crafting questions as if you are a political figure trying to curry favor and peace with another country. You'll notice the president's no longer point fingers as it is in assertive and aggressive mannerism. They do that weird thumb thing now… Does it have a name? Anyways:) you get the picture.
B. Be careful of possessives. If the spirit is "haunting" your home be careful not to call it "your home" "my home". If it is haunting an object , the same must be watched for carefully. There are various situations where this will provoke a negative reaction from spirit: if this object is an antique and used to belong to the spirit-this will provoke possessiveness and might even shut down the conversation entirely; if the home used to belong to them they will see you then as an intruder if you call yours; if an object you just got looks like something they used to have… They might identify it as theirs and again, become possessive. I know sometimes this makes no sense and to the object really does belong to you in today's society, or you have the deed with your name on it, but this really isn't about who owns what, now is it? No this is about communicating with something dead yet essentially just as alive as you are in terms of emotions, in terms of experience in your past and in terms of consciousness. Leave petty things behind.
C. Do not call yourself a Ghost Hunter, do not call yourself a believer, do not call yourself a paranormal investigator… You know what I mean, don't label yourself as something you are not to them. You are human being who is flesh and blood - who wishes to communicate with them. (You are your name also, so don't forget to tell them your name.) To spirits, ghost Hunter is a term to laugh at or to detest. Why? Well most of them tell me that they have seen the so-called ghost hunters in action and have tried to communicate with them to no avail. They stood in front of the cameras, they scream at the top of their metaphysical lungs at EVP recorders, they tried to get as hot or cold as possible and for the infrared, and even tackled the so-called psychics with all the energy they could muster to no avail. This drives some of them nuts as they are so eager or even suffering to get a message across. Or sometimes they are insulted and violated by the methods, words and emotions of said hunters. They feel like they are prey to an unworthy predator. They feel that they are the entertainment. That their suffering is entertainment. The fact that they can't communicate with their loved ones is being mocked. As a side note some spirits love ghost hunters! Some actually follow these hunters like groupies! Some actively look for these hunters and make it a beloved hobby. Some of the curiosity and some as a laugh! Some of them try to hone their abilities in order to communicate with the teams. They manifest in different ways and in different energies to try and get caught on tape, digital, video, psychically detected and even to freak out the members of the team. I think when I pass away this is going to be one of my hobbies!! But as you know human beings come in different flavors so as always ghost do too. Some spirits are so easy-going and mellow that I adore to have them hang around me at all times. Some spirits are so neurotic that they hang on every word in deep analysis. Anyways onwards.
D. Do not call yourself a medium or psychic unless you are one. Some spirits will mess around with that like it was their favorite sport. I have had the distinct displeasure of meeting several people who claim they were psychics who were not. I have also had the wonderful pleasure of meeting other real psychics. It is not always easy to tell who is real and who is not as their are some very good charlatans out there and some very awkward real psychics. I myself am a very nervous medium/psychic (I still need to find a good word for that) and oftentimes we get mad at myself during the reading for messing up a message, although subsequently I correct it, I get nervous twitches etc. Some psychics can see spirits that others can't, I'm not sure why but spirits say that this phenomena is akin to being on different channels on a ham radio. Some psychics have wider ranges than others, some psychics have worked harder to hone their skills and some psychics have worked harder to repress them. Bad impersonators are easy to spot as they will only cater to what the client wants to hear in order to be more financially rewarding. They will all also be very fluid and how they speak. Most psychics need time to interpret symbols or language or tone and can get very muddled up sometimes trying to untangle the message. There's no black and white - some real psychics don't know they are, and some fake psychics don't know they are not complete fakes. Enough of that for now that is a topic for another post.

3. Watch your face! If you're talking about a serious situation try not to laugh. Sometimes this is really hard because stress and spookiness can create laughter some people. Try to be true to what you're feeling and don't hide strong emotions as they will see discrepancy between your emotions and your face (and possibly your aura as some call it) and take that as deception. Some spirits are lie detectors in that they can read a lot into your being. They can even send heartbeats, magnetics, emotions you can't even feel on the surface, as well as dozens of other things. Be true to yourself.
4. Communicate considerately. Show questions in text, speak them aloud, think them, and think them in text in series. Some spirits can only see one of these things: some spirits can see them all. Another consideration is language: what language do they speak? Do they speak an old version of that language? Usually visualizations are an effective way of communicating. Visualizations in your mind and on paper double your chances of being heard and understood in concert with the second sentence of this paragraph. Keep it slow when you're talking and communicating mentally. Recording EVP while you asked them questions to quickly is also faux pas. It's all commonsense really.
5. If you're talking to a spirit try not to be distracted or distracting. Taking photographs of flash and beeping sounds while you're talking can effectively end the conversation.
6. Ghost hunters also seem to monogram their outfits when professional. That's fine. But having "Ghost Hunter" on your shirt is crossing the line a little bit, don't you think? Going further and having some derogatory term or having some gaudy or insulting graphic splat across the shirt or van or camera etc. is just a dumb idea! ;-) One amateur team I have seen used the picture of a noose around the neck of the Ghostbusters logo. You can see how this would annoy some spirits.
I hope to add to this later but I really really really want to post right now as it has been a very long time.
We are burning to get that photograph of the spirit or EVP that will change the world for the better when people understand that there is life after death! Or maybe you want money. Maybe you need that money. But the dangers of provoking a spirit are many and serious. Your life can turn into a hell if you are not careful. I have seen this happen and I will not help people that wish to hurt spirits. That photograph or other evidence of spirits should not come at the cost of hurting the spirit or at the cost of disgracing yourself and others that are seeking such evidence. Meet the spirit with dignity and kindness. If you really want evidence you need just be patient, eager and honest. It may take a lifetime but you are more likely to get it if you're humble and considerate. Spirits cannot give you that evidence easily otherwise they would have already done so many times over all over the world. Spirits would be taken as a granted in life and not as a question mark, or joke. Some spirits believe it should always be left open interpretation and belief and evidence of their existence is tantamount to destroying faith and religion. Most spirits will agree that human beings need faith and religion. Evidence is out there and has been given many times to many people. There so many fake pieces of evidence out there that it's hard to distinguish between real and fabricated.
When you have your piece of evidence what will you do with it? Will you sell it? Will you post it on YouTube? Will you keep it locked up only for you and your your loved ones to see? Will you keep it just for yourself? Will you send it to CNN or the New York Times or Fox news or a tabloid which focuses on such topics? Will you bring it to your priest, rabbi, high priestess, Imam, etc.? Will you burn it because of what it means should it be believed?
How much is it worth?
Will people believe it even if it is seemingly irrefutable? I have come up with phone numbers and postal codes, license plate numbers and rare names to people, and been correct, and still they did not believe it. Some trick? Did I do research on this perfect stranger? These questions come into their mind and change what they know to be true into a falsehood. I have shown people evidence during the reading so clear and so correct that they did believe it until family members or even they talked them out of it. Or sometimes their complete believers but then find a religion which says it's unholy so then it must be faked or evil. Or sometimes over time their memory is dulled: it seemed real at the time, but it can't be true! This happens so often and breaks my heart. Sometimes I tell them to write down the entire reading, and sometimes they do, but either they don't write it down or they lose the piece of paper and the reading was for nothing. They tell me what happened and it was exactly what the reading had said or exactly what the spirit had said but since it was on paper they assume that I am just saying I was right for reputation's sake or for pride's sake or for whatever sake and the reading said something else. I am the first to admit I'm not 100% accurate. I have given coordinates to family treasures or lost money and people do not write it down. But again I go on a tangent for another post. Always write down what a medium/psychic tells you from a reading or spiritual séance… Especially if you're paying for it! LOL. It just makes sense.
I hope this is helpful to you as it is to myself. It's good to remind oneself to communicate with respect. It's also important to know that we are fallible and accept that we will make many mistakes in our communications with the dead. We are only human. Spirits will also make mistakes in their communications with us. They are fallible as well. Ghosts are not our prey and hopefully we will never be the prey of ghosts! Do not hunt for evidence but uncover it with patience and presence of mind. We are students of what happens to us humans when our shell dies, of our soul, of our collective soul. None of us are professors in this field regardless of what anyone says… As it is truly undiscovered country for us shelled humans. We have our individual experiences but we do not have the necessary all-encompassing experiences with spirits required to be master of the dead and spirits.

Panic Mongering 2012

I get a lot of emails asking if the world will end in 2012 or if the position of the planets is a harbinger of doom etc. I do subscribe to a measure of astrology and cultural prophesy, but what I do not do is share panic and fear with you. As part of my life's mission statement, I want to share with you my experiences without exaggeration or sensationalizing. I feel that is important to truthful reporting and honoring the intelligence in readers. I want to share things the way they are.. And if people are bored by that truly do not understand the rammifications of a confirmed afterlife.

One does not have to butter people with panic and urgency and fear of death in order to show the supernatural. The truth is much more unsettling yet hopeful, not OMGRunForCover!!! unsettling, but that unsettling that makes us rethink our place in the universe, the meaning of life, the place that came before time and space. How wonderful it is that we have this doorway into that place!

Let me give you my insights into 2012 for today. Disasters come in grest frequency, especially since reporting has evolved with the glorious internet opening its web to amateur videos and reporting. Everyone is a reporter, should they choose that mantle. It is our duty to eachother and our future selves to report the truth, especially if popular reporting media fails to do so or fails to report certain things inside the truth's sphere.
Disasters happen each year. This year Hurricane Irene will swirl and rage across the Eastern North America.. Had it been 2012, people would perhaps panic doubly so.. Armageddon, the Rapture, the Great Shifting. I will not pretend that humans are dumb, as I know we are clever, and I know we can be stupid - especially in a mob of people. Our herd mentality is different from our individual mentality. I don't presume you don't know all I am saying, as most likely this is old news and trite, but I need to write what I am thinking. What I am thinking and writing may be trite but perhaps the is a chance I will put it in a way it'll be useful, or someone out there will find useful.
I also do not say that the whole 2012 thing is impossible. I talk to and witness the deceased.. I see energies around people.. I can see the future from the minds of the dead.. So I cannot in good conscience say it is impossible that something will indeed happen. Same way I cannot in same conscience say that we're Brains in a Vat (look it up if unfamiliar.. Very cool) or somesuch.
So what can I say about the dreaded 2012?
- Spirits are not worried for the living. Protective deceased are not taking any extra measures to my knowledge. No extra influencing. I am only one person, so I cannot speak for others true mediums' experiences/communicstions.
- People panicking can create disasters.
- Collective unconscious filled with panic is bound to spread more panic.
- Mayans saw time as a cycle, not as a finite line. Such wisdom! Of course their calendars were based on more ancient calendars from the area, they evolved those ancient calendars to further refinement and philosophized on time and its measurement. Sure they had alleged belief in the creators having made the world in several test runs.. Something not to the creators' liking enough would end up on the Redo list. Earth becomes a ball of clay to be remade into something better.
- Some Mayans would cut pieces of themselves off and use that as an offerring to the Gods. Once in a while, good things would happen, and thus the sacrifice was proven to work. One should factor in coincidence, such as those found in prophecies. I have often told clients to take everything I say with a grain of salt if it is vague as centuries of false soothsayers have relied upon coincidence (amongst many other things) to keep them in business. Vague prophesies, if made in great number, guarentee successful appearance of being a futureseer. Detailed and clear prophesies, with things so detailed the probability of coincidental success is near impossible, should be given more credence. When I give postal codes, telephone numbers, full strange names, addresses, etc - I know I am in the right zone for a good reading of clarity and accuracy. When my readings are vague, I give the money back unless I can get good detail. I keep trying and trying until I get the detail, even if it takes weeks or months, as vagueness is my nemesis in readings. I hate people who rely on cold readings to TRICK people... Truth will evolve us, not petty money-grubbers. If someone does cold readings and tells people that is what they are doing, for entertainment, that's okay.. But people who do it to trick and make a fortune.. Disgust me, anger me. The messages from the deceased are sacred. Prophesies are no different, prophecies which are genuinely faked for the purpose of creating mass hysteria and in turn make them money.. That is forcung humans to take steps back in spiritual evolution: giving a bad name to mediumship, clairvoyance, etc - the real deals that help people and help humans to see the afterlife as something to look forward to - not fear - and learning that staying alive as long as possible is a necessity to our spiritual growth.
- Many of the sites speaking of the 2012 'prophecy' differ WILDLY from actual research into Mayan calendars and farseeing. They get key facts wrong at the beginning or during of their thought process, which can screw up the philosophy and prophecy into a twisted image of what it is.
- Even masters of Mayan culture are still working on building upon what they know. Some theories and ideas must be proven still. These people have devoted their lives to the Maya.. And some NON-archeologist/NON-anthropologist bloggers think that they know more. Quite a disconnect.
- Most seers will not touch ancient prophecy with a ten mile pole... The images and languages these people communicate with will be spotty at best, confusing most likely, and impossible to know for sure. Ancient spirits, I would say anything older than a few hundred years, have been so long away from being living and embodied that they are rather different in communication. Out of practice. It isn't often they find a medium, and even more rare they find one that understands them. The pure thought-transferral without words or language systems of any kind only work well if the medium is focused, relaxed, and in perfect mental state... From my experience., it is hard to keep cool headed when such a blast of information clocks you in the side of the head. Doable, but much is lost in the communication.. Too much to rely on for true accuracy. With practice and luck, you get a nice chunk of information meat to chew on.. The really tricky part is writing it down fast enough, legible enough, and enough to make sense and accurate translation of said knowledge. So much room for error! Scribbling is too mistake-breeding, speaking is too slow, and typing gives a chance of computer error.. Virus checker pops up, power out, saving error.. Etc.. A perfect storm of perfect conditions and the communication is safe and sound and accurate.. But then, will people believe you in the midst of hundreds of thousands of fake mediums?? And it might be boring stuff to the masses, like how they made corn sacrifices or clothing in the culture.. But fascinating to a the wrong group.. Scientists need irrefutable proof that said medium is real, and... Well.. This field, mediumship, is not one of irrefutable proof. Yet.

Okay now I'm pooped. Short summary: don't worry. Read up on Maya. Read up on various theories and write down differences. Perhaps the truth is in the differences. Perhaps the truth is in what is not said. Between the lines has always been a source of great knowledge and discovery. Happy and productive hunting, my fellow seekers! :)

Spirts in Communicating and the Spiritual Immune System in Humans

This post is a two parter, and as such I will begin with the shortest part: emails!

I enjoy getting mails from you all very much! My illness and the volume of letters creates lag in my posting here. Although I have almost completed several articles, it has pained me to post less. On the subject of the Deceased there is so much to tell! I could post all my life and probably not have shared the surface of the Other Places. My beloved has shared an idea: to incorporate your questions and situations (albeit protective of identity) into the posts. I will ask any mailer, unless a difficult situation, if I can put your (identity protected) emails here to share with others whom share you queries and situations. When you mail, let me know if you are either for or against it and I will omit the question. Now, onto today's subject.


Spirits Information Sharing and Spiritual Immune Systems
Sometimes spirits will catch me right as I am about to wake up, in that calm alpha to theta state with little going on in my noggin or spirit, and enter my thoughts to "lay an egg" as some of them have put it. Quick, intense, and usually overwhelming information will be passed on and usually wake me up sweating and heart pounding.
I believe humans have a spiritual immune system that resists the usual usage of the mind by outside spirits. That immune function is at its lowest during sleep and other calming times, such as night when things are slower and less stimuli flutter about us in droves. We are more defended when our brains are more focused and subconscious busier in getting all the little pieces of information our senses feed it and our thoughts impress. It is much easier to let spirits in when we allow ourselves to be empty in thought and relaxed of body. Our spirit seems fused with our bodies during the time our bodies have life. Spirits tend to cling to life like a child to a womb and then its mother, our deaths mean leaving the nest. During the time we are alive, perhaps our bodies want to protect us from the overstimulating and sometimes dangerous influence of spirits. We are great spiritual birds waiting to fly! But we must first learn to do so.
Our cultures usually shun the spiritual and thus clip our wings until the moment we have to use to them. The spiritual immune system seems to help us from being overwhelmed, but culture makes us shy and shun our true beings thus making the immune system almost useless. So many of us shut our hearts and minds from seeing and hearing spirits, whether that is our intention or a subliminal cultural block or just being suggested too many times that: "Ghosts don't exist! Don't be stupid!" or "You will be hung, burned, or drowned for believing in such things!" or "Death is the end." it doesn't matter what made us close our eyes, we must open them as a whole. Imagine human advancement if we could instantly transfer all our knowledge to the living upon death! Imagine living without being terrified or depressed at the thought of oblivion! Imagine never having to say goodbye to loved ones at death... "Just, see you when you are metamorphosed!" As a species we would be better for it, and as individuals we would have so much less sufferring. No true death - no true loss. What would be war in such a world where the dead would see the folly and the living would have no sourness at death as a metamorphosis instead of a end? Religion would be transformed, relying less on arguments and more on pure worship of the Creating Force. Ah, what a beauty it would be.
All mediums, unless they were born in a cultural vacuum and taught by a spiritual master and seer, are blocked by all these things and therefore we struggle in the unknown to use deduction and our experiences to for opinion and teach themselves to hone the Sight. We need to be open in order to form proper classes, schools, and guilds to better our spiritual side.
So what if this life can go on without spirt sight? It is like blindfolding a seeing society because people can survive blind. Yeah, sure we can, but so much is literally hidden.. So many wonders. You can't properly feel a painting with your hands, the Northern Lights, panoramas of our beautiful world, and the look on our children's faces when love and happiness collide. Our spiritual blindness is making us suffer and wither. How may generations will it take before our "eyes" are deemed useless by evolution and culture? Although I don't think it will ever happen to have no more seers, as there is a great underground mass of us sharing and reading and trying. And speaking of blindness, the blind could have a new sense to experience the world.

The information sharing that spirits can do is quite bracing and nerve wracking. It happens once in a while, despite my pleas for spirits to warn me before they do so, and happened this morning. You see, I am in the market for a house with my Beloved and tend to be more whimsical and dreamy than practical and down to earth. Perhaps comes with the territory of being so steeped in spiritual practice and dreaming exercises! The spirit entered me during sleep and as I woke I saw a bright flash of light then a small flat mist waving like water gently disrubed, milky yet smokey, preceeded by a ball of light that truly seemed related to a soap bubble and crystal ball. All was a subdued red/puple colour. My mind and heart raced and thoughts filled my mind in hard pragmatism I never think without an alien influence. Several very specific thoughts. It shed my vision of the perfect house and left me feel used and empty.. But also thankful for the reality check. It seemed pleased by this, I think it was male and my Anglo Grandfather, but he always appears differently to me. Rarely too! I won't go into the specifics as it will not be that interesting, suffice it to say that it was extremely intelligent and insightful. My grandfather was a property developer and a very intelligent man, he rarely comes to me as he is quite an explorer as a spirit.
Before this example I have had hundreds of these quick and intense information exchanges. Some speak paragraphs in a single split second - a man walking behind me, the spirit communicates, is a bad man with priors for rape and aggrevated assault. The spirit showed me the incidents in such a short time and I high-tailed it outta there to a public place. Another time a spirit communicated a way out of being swarmed by a local gang - told me JUST what to say to diffuse the anger my friend had instilled when all I wanted to do was run. The spirit quickly showed me several outcomes and the plans before them and then suggested how to fix the situation. No beating nor anything stolen. Another less dramatic series was when I was in school taking exams. Bam! All the answers. Thank goodness for that, as fatigue and pain from my disease would have made my exam blank without the help of my beloved spirits.
Of course with every good, there is usually a bad. Some spirits use this communication to depress you to your darkest mental alleyways and junk yards. Most spirits upon meeting me will force how they died upon me, or the crimes they regret or extoll. But usually the communiqués are useful to the point of necessary.

Okay, I will write more later. Thank you for reading and meditate daily if possible. No better way to open to spiritual energies than mastering your mind and how open or closed it happens to be, and of course relaxing in a strange world.

Vision of Hope

I usually ask each spirits several questions upon meeting.
- Have you seen or seen evidence of what God is like in any way? I believe in God but specifics, details would be interesting!
- Is there anything you need to get widespread coverage or at least googleable coverage?
- Do you have a message for a particular person?
- Will there ever be a cure for fibromyalgia (a bit of a selfish question)?
- Have you ever seen angels or devils or death personified? This question is mainly for FAQ as spirits will have more opportunity to see these things.
Anyways there are more but usually tailored to the individual.

Recently I got my first positive answer for my selfish question .. A cure for my disease. Usually they would sadly shake their "head" and switch topics in order to distract me from my disappointment. You cannot hide emotions from spirits, as they live in the world your soul does.. The root of most of your emotions.. Along with physical roots of course.
The spirit communicated: 'a cure for fibromylagia will be here ten years from now. February 2021* I smiled from ear to ear and now feel that a life sentence of pain and crazy multiple symptoms has been commuted to ten years from now.

I had to share it. My disease gets harder and harder for some reason, escalating symptoms constantly.

Anyways, spirits do lie but I have a good feeling about this.
