The Burning Rain Message

Unlike Nostradamus, I am lucky to be able to express the ghosts' messages about the future. Strange as they may be, and perhaps they are just lonely and are telling me stories. This one, however, was as vivid as if I was there. And the spirit seemed adamant to keep me "under" in order for me to see the entire warning. However, like Nostradamus, there is technology and events I can only describe here, as I lack the technical knowledge.

In the not too distant future, as there were no flying cars or regular commercial trips to the Moon, there will be a woman. A brave and intelligent young woman. This takes place in New York City, and it pertains to a horrible disaster.
She showed me a brilliant new train or monorail that is to be made. I saw a strange cord on this train, many "strings" - white, they remind me of sail cord or nylon cords but I know it not to be so.

A group of passengers is on this train. The girl is having a conversation with a little boy who is being quite rude. She just had a horrible fight with an ex boyfriend.. this isn't important to the event, but to the woman who gave me this glimpse. There's also some older folk, students, work-a-day folk.

The woman somehow knows that there is something wrong with the train. She sees the white cords and is panicked. (I think there is a skylight in which the passengers can see the miracle cords) This doesn't look right. She knows in other ways, I suspect that people on the ground are pointing up at the train. This train is a gem in New York City.

Do I know a date or time? Vaguely, she didn't show me a calendar, or if she did, it was too quick. It's a sunny after noon, with a medium density of cloud cover. Not Winter for sure. Probably Summer. If it is Summer, it's during the cooler parts of Summer - mid September. If in Fall, it's during the warmer parts - Late Sept to Mid October.

She leans over to a young woman and tells her to get off the train. The city's so big, not too many people want to get off, this train is the gem - why would anything be wrong with it? Many people start to get upset. I do not see a conductor on this train. The woman was in the middle of the train.

She gets off, along with a few pissed off people, including nervous tourists.

The sky isn't right. The clouds aren't right, she doesn't say how. She shows me. The clouds look weird in some places, like little ugly flowers - an empty center and jutting petals of cloud. However, the petals are very variegated, none are the same length. Most are the same width however.

She walks, trying to get her bearings. She hasn't been to this place, or at least not often. It's near a dock I think.

She hears screaming. She hears general upset. She starts screaming herself, as the rain burns, the rain sears through her light jacket. She seeks shelter in a wooden building, a small building near the docks. The rain is getting in, eating through the wood. I think it's wood, could be wrong. Anyways, a whole group gathers in a stronger building.. they pack in like sardines. (The rain is not the Dark Rain of a nuclear event. It's clear and normal looking, maybe slightly milky.)
The woman is very claustrophobic. She would rather quickly find another building. She remembers thinking 'I wish I lived back in the day when cigarettes were thought of as healthy' - talking about simpler, quieter times.

The screaming continues, and she finds another building, it looks like a place where people exercise or play (like a daycare center or yoga center) and sits with a few other people on an exercise matt. She takes off her jacket and looks at the large dots on her shirts - revealing blistered skin.

Somehow she hears that the train's cords, however strong they were, were eaten away by this rain. No one calls it acid rain for some reason. Do they know what it is? Everyone remaining on the train, and under the train on the busy streets, died horribly.

She thinks of her Mother - where is she? Is she ok? She doesn't think of a Father, either he is dead or exiled from the family in some way.

The woman closes the vision. I don't know if she lives or dies. I never saw any corpses, but horribly injured people. This doesn't mean no one died. She may have spared my feelings, as she still thinks of me as a child.

After showing me these images, she communicates "the train was a good idea, as long as this acid shit didn't happen." The screams still haunt her.. imagine that - a ghost being haunted. It's normal. They are haunted by horrible memories, fellow spirits that won't leave them alone - just like a tag-a-long that won't quit or quiet.

What happens? What is this rain? It's more than acid rain, I got the distinct feeling that the rain was radioactive, nuclear event related, but not a bomb dropped on NYC.. no. No bomb had been dropped there, as the city was beautiful and unscathed - at least not to the level of a recent nuclear disaster. There were no strange sounds in the air before the disaster either, so I doubt this was deployed by a noisy airplane.. and this was not a regular event. Everyone was shocked. I got a feeling this was not an attack, but a consequence.

Such are the ways of spirit communication. However, if a hardcore scientist had explained it to me, there is no way I would have remembered anything complex. Spirits can often lull you into a place where you only remember the sights or sounds or certain aspects of the vision. Perhaps it is the manner in which they access our minds that creates this red tape around the communication.

Why post such a bare-bones tale? A spirit entrusted me with the information, to further communicate it, and in my limited way I must fulfill this unsaid promise. I also have a small bit of fear that the spirit would continue to show me this horrible vision until I communicate it - as that is also the way of the spirit. They have all the time in the universe.
