Homeless Ghosts

I recently came in contact with four homeless ghosts, who communicated something very brief yet very intense: "our bodies are buried in the woods."
One was a child around 12-14 years of age, one was a woman 37-45 years old, and then there were two men - of which age I can only speculate as past midlife - I am HORRIBLE with aging people past 60, as peoples' lifestyles make age a difficult thing. For instance, people that sun burn a lot each year tend to look older, or people who smoke a great deal, or drink a great deal, or whom are stressed out beyond the average Joe.
These homeless people died in an unsavory way and were buried by their killer. They didn't know the killer, they saw him "around" but didn't know him. They are buried in their forest encampment, under about two feet of soil/dirt.

As a medium, I want to help the spirits. I want to find them and give them peace. But at the same time this all poses many questions for me as a person.
1. Is going alone in the forest a good idea? I don't think many people would want to come with.
2. Will someone report me for taking a shovel into the woods?
3. If I do find bodies, won't they suspect me? I seriously doubt that police would understand or believe "I'm a psychic... dead people told me to dig them up." I could be arrested or sent to a mental ward for a few years of friendly observation.
4. What kind of mental trauma would it be to find four dead bodies, four not-yet-skeletons, for me?
5. What kind of attention would this bring to my family and neighborhood?
6. Could the killer be one of those whom regularly visit their victims, or live close by, and follow me home?
7. Could any traps have been left?

Yeah I'm asking all these "what about me" questions, but they're valid and intelligent. I don't recommend that you, if you are a medium, go about doing everything that spirits ask you to do. Yes, you may ask yourself questions like:

1. Won't the spirits live forever bound to Earth, specifically the place their bones reside?
No. In time, spirits let go. And it's not as clean cut as Heaven - Earth - Hell. Spirits can be in "Heaven" partly, and on "Earth" - it's like multitasking on your computer. You can do a few things at once. Spirits "multitask" between different dimensions of existence, (for example but not limited to) Earth, Past, Future, Heaven.. and even "Hell." Parts of them can drift in and out of these planes - dimensions, or in our high tech world, a good way to put it is "window" - like a computer program. Why some fade in and out is because they are flipping between these channels, or are in two places at once. Bilocation may seem impossible for matter, but for spiritual beings, it's their daily grind. Spirits are not matter. They are not gas nor liquid nor solid nor plasma. They are immaterial, but they can manifest in matter (more on that in another post.. back to the matter at hand.. like that pun?) Point being, spirits that are "tortured" can be partly tortured and partly in Heaven, but not show you that. I could sense these spirits had quite a substantial part of them in Heaven - or at least in a good place. They want closure, understandable - but there are other ways of finding it that don't involve endangering someone who is alive. Some mediums disregard their own health and wellbeing for the sake of complete strangers, which may seem heroic, but these people are already dead. They have centuries upon millennia to "Work their issues out", and there are plenty of Heavenly spirits to help them out.. they are never alone.. but sometimes they think negatively, just like living humans.

2. If I don't help them catch the killer, won't the killer(s) be on my conscience if you don't do something about it like call the cops?
I'd rather the killer be on my conscience than kill me or my family members! I also have great faith in the police system.. they don't respond to my emails etc asking if they need a psychic... but I believe that they are good at what they do.

Curiosity... it's a horrible thing. Every time I'm near that place I want to go and look. Look and see what's there.. As a medium, I know that it would make the homeless spirits leave me alone, and would bring them peace, but as a member of a family - I know it would also endanger my kindred. I could just as easily end up being a spirit on the prowl for a medium to help me!
